Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing hallways, floors, and stairs.
- Operating industrial vacuums to remove dirt, debris, and refuse.
- Cleaning windows, interior walls, and ceilings; disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures.
- Performing minor repairs on heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contacting tradespersons for major repairs.
- Conducting safety and security checks, supervising other workers.
- Showing apartments and offices to prospective tenants, moving heavy furniture and equipment, and handling maintenance tasks like painting and drywall repair.
- Watering and maintaining plants, lawns, and gardens.
